Painting The Planet Green - Workshop 1

Join Us - In Tropical North Queensland for this magic Workshop!

@ The Tanks Arts Centre - Cairns Botanical Gardens -

Friday 19th September 2025 - 10am to 2.30pm

46 Collins Ave, Cairns, QLD, Australia 4870

Often considered as a relatively easy medium, watercolor is actually one of the toughest mediums to work with and Rajat has mastered it well. Watercolor remains his forté and he likes to capture nature, landscapes and abandoned objects through his work. In today’s world, nature is gradually perishing, so he likes to retain its beauty and essence through his paintings.

“Watercolour is the most challenging medium to handle, it is very fascinating to get the transparency, to work with layer after layer. There is no scope for correction, that’s the best part. The way one color mixes with other color with the help of water; is the most thrilling part. Some artists avoid this risk, but I enjoy it the most!”

In this Workshop you will explore the techniques and discover through Rajat's minds eye concepts that he believes will reinvigorate our planet - the Artwork from this Workshop will be hung as a green-wall - uniting nature together!
